Our Mission
At Hope & Home Foundation, We help first-time homebuyers take advantage of the county’s Tax Sale program by providing financial and educational support to repair and acquire homes at an accessible cost.
We also reward high-achieving graduates with incentives ranging from $500 to $1,000, recognizing their effort and motivating them to continue succeeding, whether or not they pursue college.
Our Vision
A stronger, more connected community where homeownership and education are celebrated and supported.
đź’™ Our Values
Hope. Integrity. Action. Community.
Hope: We meet people where they are and walk with them toward a brighter future.
Integrity: Every dollar is used with transparency, care, and accountability.
Action: We don’t just believe in change—we make it happen, house by house, dream by dream.
Community: We listen, collaborate, and serve with humility—because strong communities lift everyone.
🏡 Our Community
We are proud to serve Pottsville and Schuylkill County—a place of hardworking families, resilient youth, and deep-rooted neighbors.
Here, a home isn’t just a roof—it’s stability. A diploma isn’t just paper—it’s possibility.
Through partnerships with local leaders, schools, and volunteers, we ensure our support reflects the real needs of the people we serve.
This is our home. And together, we’re building its future.

🏡 Home Ownership Support
Turning State-Owned Properties into Family Homes
Many homes in Schuylkill County sit vacant—not because they’re beyond repair, but because delinquent property taxes block their sale. Hope & Home Foundation removes this barrier for first-time homebuyers by covering back taxes on eligible state-owned properties.
We don’t just hand over keys—we walk alongside families through the rehabilitation process, connecting them with local contractors, resources, and support. The result? Safe, stable homes where families can thrive for generations.
Eligibility: First-time homebuyers in Schuylkill County, income-qualified, committed to owner-occupancy.
🎓 Youth Empowerment
From Diploma to Dream
A high school diploma is just the beginning. For many graduates in our community, the next step—college, trade school, or launching a small business—feels out of reach due to financial gaps.
Hope & Home Foundation provides direct financial incentives to recent graduates to bridge that gap. Whether it’s tuition for community college, tools for a trade, or startup costs for a micro-business, we invest in their vision.
Because when our youth succeed, our entire community rises.
Eligibility: Recent high school graduates from Schuylkill County schools, with a clear plan for education or entrepreneurship.
